Subject: So long, Douglas. ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by Hicks I raise my glass to you, Douglas Adams. Millions of laughs have been created by your novel and incredible literate mind. You were a brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humour. It is sad to see you go. Many good lucks in the next world, oh creator of that book, more popular than the Celestial Home Care Omnibus, better selling than Fifty Things to Do In Zero Gravity and more controversial than Oolon Coluphid's trilogy of philosophical blockbusters: Where God Went Wrong, Some of God's Greatest Mistakes and Who is This God Person Anyway? The indespensible book that brought warmth to all our hearts in the worst and the best of times. I hope you do find the Ultimate Answer -and- Question, out there. When you are out there, scared where to go next or what to do. Just remember two massively successful and loved words. DON'T PANIC |
