Subject: A Great Humorist ( 38 of 48 )
Posted by Evolute

Douglas Adams's books influenced the way that my sense of humor formed as I grew up. His humor was incisive, yet gentle, and always tempered by his great humaneness. He had the boldness to be unabashedly silly, and the wit and wisdom use the silliness to convey important ideas palatably. He will be sorely missed.

My condolences to everyone who loved him.
