I encountered a problem in iMovie. Would like to share with u and pls.let me know if you have any suggestions to get rid of this.

Problem in detail (in sequence):

1. I am using imac with fire wire and imovies
2. Transferring movies from Digital camcorder (JVD DVX40)
3. Done the editing, put some titles
4. Export back to camcorder ; when the title scene comes,
the camera is getting disconnected from the imac. with
an error message on iMovie "your camera is not on ...."

I could not see JVC DVX 40, listed in the
http://www.apple.com/imovie/gear/ site as supporting camera for iMovie. Is this could be the reason ?
